I solved it by right clicking >properties>compatibility>"run this programin compatibility mode for windows XP SP2" I had the same error after downloading the trial exe. I had this problem and your post was the first to show up in Google. You need to set ntfs permisions on your account to full control. Setting compat mode to XP SP2 and running as Admin fixed the "The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible" message for me. Thanks for the tip, moving the folder worked for me too. The install worked immediately, and the "no permission or drive full" error didn't come up. I pulled the files from the TEMP directory mentioned above and just stuck them in a folder on the desktop. Btw, the error I got said the temp directory is full - this fixes that as well! I spent a lot of time getting frustrated trying to fix this. Running the setup.exe did not work for me, it just kept giving me the same error telling me that my temprorary file is on a drive that is full, but I trird running the Acroread.msi file in that same directory and it installed the program.
